Piping engineer

The Piping Engineer provides support and expertise for oil projects, both offshore as well as onshore. Piping Engineers work on projects all the way through the engineering phases, including commissioning and start up, conceptual design, construction, detailed design and front-end engineering. A Piping Engineer aids in the development of the project by working offshore to gather reservoir fluid, conduct primary hydrocarbon treatments, allow new drilling operations and compress a portion of the gas for reinjection. The Piping Engineer collects and treats any sour gas from offshore, stores it and exports the oil. Piping Engineers also work on pipelines to effectively link all of the areas of the project and make marketing of the gas and oil possible.
