The producers of the Clean Gulf Conference & Exhibition are launching the inaugural Shale EnviroSafe Conference and Exhibition at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Taking place on 14th and 15th November 2012, Shale EnviroSafe will focus exclusively on the environmental, safety and health challenges faced by the oil & gas community at shale plays around the USA.

As drilling technology advances, shale development and exploration will continue to increase throughout the U.S., the issues specific to the environment and safety concerns are still unfolding on both a State and Federal level. This is creating an urgent need for companies operating at the shale plays to focus on related issues including water treatment, air quality, worker safety, chemical use, and new regulations. Shale EnviroSafe serves as an industry friendly forum by bringing together the entire shale drilling & development community including operating companies, state & federal regulators, service companies, pipeline & storage companies, academia, and law firms to discuss shale environmental, health & safety challenges /opportunities and explore viable solutions.

The Shale EnviroSafe conference program will cover topics such as: Effects of Hydraulic Fracturing on Aquifers and Surface Waters; The 2012 Regulatory Environment-State & Federal updates; Permitting; Hydraulic Fracturing and Seismic Activity and Water Treatment.

To complement the two-day conference program, Shale EnviroSafe has an exhibit floor where leading environmental & safety companies, as well as State & Federal regulators focussing on shale drilling & development, will display their ES&H solutions. Shale EnviroSafe attendees will have the opportunity to visit with technical staff in each booth to discuss the products and technology on display.
