SeeByte has been awarded an USD8,973,290 modification to previously awarded contract to exercise option two for Common Operator Interface command and control software for Navy explosive ordnance disposal teams.
The software application is used for mission planning, equipment data transfer, mission execution tracking, post mission analysis, and data reporting by Navy explosive ordnance disposal mobile units, mobile diving and salvage units, and research and development activities. Work will be performed in Edinburgh, Scotland, and is expected to be completed by December 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Centre, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity.
