UDT 2011 promises to be a highly interactive event with several key features directly involving the element of water. Taking place at ExCeL London, UK, from 7th to 9th June 2011, UDT will for the first time feature a waterborne demonstration programme with the 800m of dockside adjacent to the exhibition hall providing the perfect platform.

The demonstrations will form a key part of UDT, which will provide visitors to the exhibition and conference with a chance to see the latest technological developments in their intended environment. Ultra Electronics have confirmed that they will undertake a series of demonstrations that will cover topics such as Harbour Surveillance and Anti-Submarine Warfare.

A second water themed feature to be included is a 7.5m diameter demonstration tank that will be situated on the exhibition floor and will be used as a platform for smaller waterborne demonstrations from diving equipment to UUVs.

Industry associations are taking an active part in the event, with ADS Maritime and the Society of Underwater Technology organising pavilions.
