  RESON 7125 SV2

DEA is a long-time customer of RESON and was an early adopter of the SeaBat 7125. The upgraded 7125-SV2 system provides dramatically improved performance.

“DEA used different shallow water Multibeam systems, including the RESON 7125, during two field seasons on the Chesapeake Bay while conducting nautical charting surveys for NOAA,” said DEA’s Director of Marine Services Jon Dasler. “Based on system performance, we decided to move forward with the RESON 7k product line for our NOAA contract work  and purchase a second RESON 7125-SV2 system. The ability to tune the RESON 7125-SV2 to specific site conditions and its improved bottom tracking algorithms from earlier versions, outstanding resolution of features, data tagging with quality flags, responsive product support were key factors in our decision.”

Dasler is a member of the NOAA Federal Advisory Committee for hydrographic services responsible for advising on technologies related to hydrographic operations, research and development.
