Teledyne Odom Hydrographic Systems Change of Management

For a period of two-years following Teledyne's acquisition of Odom Hydrographic Systems, Richard Byrd planned to remain general manger of Teledyne Odom. That period has now ended. As had been the plan for some time, Stephen Apsey has now been promoted to the role of general manager of Teledyne Odom Hydrographic Systems. Stephen has grown up in and around this business.  

 

Richard and the Odom team built a solid business with an outstanding industry reputation.  Under Richard's leadership, the Odom business has been assimilated into the Teledyne organisation. Richard's last day in the general manager role was 23rd December 2010.

 

Stephen has a keen understanding of the environment and applications of the Odom instruments and has designed or been involved in the design of many of the Odom products.  Stephen also posses a broad understanding of the business aspects of the Teledyne Odom product line.

 

Stephen officially assumed the role of general manger of Teledyne Odom Hydrographic on Thursday 24 December 2010.
