Six-month Charter for Polar Duchess

Dolphin Geophysical, Norway, has accepted a Letter of Award from TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA for a six-month charter of the new high-capacity 3D seismic vessel, M/V Polar Duchess. The contract is expected to begin in the first half of April 2012 and continue through the full European summer season.  

 

Atle Jacobsen, CEO, commented that he saw positive developments in the demand for high-capacity 3D seismic vessels, and this large contract for their second new 3D vessel marked an important milestone in the rapid growth phase of the Dolphin Group.
