SAAB Seaeye Different from SAAB Cars

As the business situation of the Swedish car manufacturer SAAB may be worrying quite some people, SAAB Seaeye tells that there is no connection between Saab AB, the parent company of Saab Seaeye Ltd., and Saab cars owned by Swedish Automobiles.
The two companies became separate in 2000 after sharing a common history with Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget, which was founded in 1937. Saab AB is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and is a leader in defence, aviation and security technologies.
Saab Seaeye Ltd. is the world's largest manufacturer of electric ROVs.
