QPS and IVS 3D Join Forces

HITT NV signed the Share Purchase Agreement with the owners of IVS 3D. IVS 3D, founded in 1995, has developed commercial products for marine information visualisation, processing and analysis software through partnerships with business, government and academic institutions, including the Center of Coastal & Ocean Mapping of the University of New Hampshire, USA.

The operations of IVS and QPS, HITT’s subsidiary in Zeist, the Netherlands, will be combined and together form a joint workforce of 56 highly qualified and knowledgeable employees. The organization thereby becomes the most significant developer and producer of commercial off-the-shelf software for data-acquisition, data-processing and 3D/4D visualization in the worldwide markets of geodesy, hydrography, oceanography and precision navigation. The key products are known under the brand names QINSy, Fledermaus and Qastor.
