Ocean Waves Workshop

On 17th November 2011, the University of New Orleans is to host a one-day Ocean Waves Workshop to provide a forum for scientists, engineers and managers to explore the issues relevant to ocean waves. Abstracts have been received from Grand Valley State University and the John Hopkins University hoewever the organisers are looking forward to receiving more papers. Registration and abstract submission closes 31st October 2011.
They are currently inviting abstract submissions for this event on topics ranging from the use of wave measurements to support alternative energy, to the development of wave modeling frameworks to protect life and save property. Four abstracts will be selected for development into full papers for presentation, and all abstracts and papers will be published in a final proceedings following the workshop.
