New Role for Kelvin Hughes' Director

Kelvin Hughes has recently announced the appointment of Martin Taylor as managing director of its Charts business with effect from 1st November 2010. Taylor, equipment business director for Kelvin Hughes since 2007, moves to a new post to take control of the Company's electronic and paper charts and publications business, ChartCo and the specialist leisure and superyacht operations.

Commenting on his new role Martin Taylor said: "As an ECDIS manufacturer, the leading supplier of paper charts and with ChartCo as the industry preferred source of updates and electronic information, we are in a prime position to make the transition to electronic charts as painless as possible for our customers.

With almost 10,000 vessels currently managed through our Outfit Management and ChartCo services we understand the complexities that are involved with ECDIS data management. We have specifically targeted new products such as PassageManager that simplify navigation and chart management whilst taking into account customer preferences."
