New Chairman Hydrographic Society UK

The Hydrographic Society UK has confirmed David Parker as its new chairman, to succeed William Heaps. The announcement came at its seventh Annual General Meeting, held on Wednesday during Ocean Business in Southampton, UK, .

 

David is civil hydrography manager at the UK Hydrographic Office and is the Society's South West region representative on the THS UK Management committee. William will continue to represent THS UK within the International Federation of Hydrograhpic Societies (IFHS).
