IEEE Oceans'12 Call for Papers

The organisers of Oceans'12 have issued a Call for Papers. The conference is to take place from 21st to 24th May 2012 in Yeosu, Korea. Subjects that have been added especially for this edition are Marine Environments and Energy in East Asia; Ocean Energy and Marine Renewable Energy; Climate Change and Biodiversity; Offshore CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS); Coastal Hazards and Marine Environmental Protection; Tsunami, Oil Spill and Marine Disasters; Marine Aquaculture and Marine Biomimetics and Robots. Deadline for submission of abstracts is 13th January 2012. 

The OCEANS'12 Conference, jointly sponsored by the Marine Technology Society (MTS), the Oceanic Engineering Society of the IEEE and the Korean Association of Ocean Science and Technology Societies, is a major international forum for scientists, engineers and responsible ocean users to present the latest research results, ideas, developments and applications in Oceanic Engineering and Marine Technology. It is also intended to be a great opportunity to increase their network of people and of course an excellent occasion to visit and enjoy one of the most rapidly developing nations in the world, Korea.
