First UK SONIC2024Sale

Swathe Services sales division has sold its first SONIC 2024 wideband high resolution shallow water multibeam echosounder in the UK. Within a matter of days of announcing the inclusion of the SONIC2024 in the rental pool of survey equipment the company immediately supplied two systems for hire with a major UK survey company, on a contract that has now extended beyond three months and looks certain to continue to the end of the year.

Having proved the capabilities of the SONIC2024 to the client throughout this rental period we were delighted to receive an order to supply the complete SONIC 2024 system including the Valeport MiniSVS.

Swathe Services has received interest in the R2SONIC systems and they will be arranging demonstrations in various locations around the UK in 2011. Details and dates will be communicated and it is possible to register your interest by contacting Ruth Russell at ruth.russell@swathe-services.com.

Swathe Services also has established a division in the UK to concentrate on providing technology to the survey industry. Swathe Sales and Support Ltd is headed up by James Williams and will focus on equipment sales, training and support in the UK and Europe. Andy Johnson, operations manager, will be providing survey personnel and equipment to marine contractors around the world under the banner of Swathe Services (UK) Ltd. The Australian division continues to expand and develop and Swathe Services is establishing representation in France which will allow us to offer local support to the European clients.
